So, earlier this year, my teacher comes up to me and asks if I want to be a part of skills USA, this national competition in everything from residential wiring to 3-d animation. I'm like, "sure!", largely because I'd get to miss three days of school as an excused absence. But I need a competition to participate in, so I just picked which ever one had the coolest name. Thus, I signed up for Extemporaneous Speaking. Yeah, you can't beat a name like that. So I find out later this competition is perfect for me.
